Five Seido 5-16 collectors provide 480 gallons of domestic hot water for a building at an air base near Duluth. Our dealer Conservation Technologies in Duluth was responsible for this project. |
Space Heating in Maine
|
This large, closed-loop system uses a photovoltaic circulator powered by
three 150 W BP3150 panels is series. The system was designed and
installed by our dealer in Arundel Maine, Solar Market. One hundred
forty-four (144) Seido 5-16 evacuated tube collectors are plumbed in
parallel and series for the house heating system. The single remaining
16-tube collector is reserved for domestic hot water. A dump circuit is
employed to prevent overheating in the summer.

EcoVillage in Ithaca, NY
| Another
installation done by our dealer Renovus Energy. This is at the Nolan/O
duplex at EcoVillage in Ithaca, NY. It provides domestic hot water and
radiant floor preheat.

Apple Pond Farm in Callicoon
Center, NY
| Shown here a 64-tube Seido-5 array. The collector heats a 320 gallon
custom made storage tank from Six Rivers Solar (California) that has
three internal heat exchangers. In addition to providing an abundance of
domestic hot water, this system provides space heating through the
existing radiant floor and heats the hot tub. This system is located at
Apple Pond Farm in Callicoon Center, NY.
