SEIDO 1 Collector Module

Our most economical collector, with standard straight absorber in  the glass tube, which converts sunlight to free heat energy.
Appropriate for the majority of installations.

Basic Sizing Guidelines:

Typically 1 m² (10.76 ft²) of absorber surface for every 100 Liters (26.42 US gallons) of water storage, or 0.7 m² (7.5 ft²) or 4 tubes per person.

Tubes are mounted in a vertical orientation (15-90 degrees).

The following factors must be considered when sizing a system :

• Number of persons and water consumption habits
• Desired temperature
• Deviation of the collector from true South
• Deviation of roof inclination from optimum 35-45
• Total length of piping (to and from collector)
• Hot water circulation circuit
