| Worldwide presence grows with naming of Sun Spot Solar as Agent |

August 2001 -- Beijing Sunda Solar Energy Technology Co., LTD., and Sun Spot Solar & Heating, Inc. have teamed up to market the Seido line of evacuated tube solar collectors in the United States. Sun Spot Solar, located in Northeast Pennsylvania, will be function as a sales agent for
SUNDA to the U.S. renewable energy market. Sun Spot Solar is managed by a team with experience in both engineering and international business. SUNDA is a joint venture company founded in 1995 by Daimler-Benz Aerospace AG and Beijing Sunpu Technical Company. Research and development work was supported by the German and Chinese governments, the United Nations Development Program and the Beijing Solar Energy Research Institute. In 1996 SUNDA opened a new manufacturing facility with enhanced capacity to produce in excess of 500,000 evacuated tubes per year. Every tube is inspected and certified to German Industry Standard DIN 4757. Marketing efforts will be directed to establishing dealer relationships to help distribute and support SUNDA's products on a regional and nationwide scale. Other activities will include exhibiting at renewable energy fairs, HVAC trade shows, and home improvement expositions. |
