Sun Spot Solar offers custom built solar storage tanks manufactured by STSS Co., Inc. A lower cost alternative to steel tanks, these non-pressurized EPDM lined tanks are available in many sizes and heat exchanger configurations. Generally, one copper heat exchanger coil is connected to the solar loop and a second coil to the domestic water supply. Additional coils can be added to support house heating for example. Tanks are collapsible, making them easy to transport and move through narrow doorways. Tanks can be ordered as drain back versions.
